Wendy Schaal
Wendy Schaal is a veteran character actress on television and in film. Schaal's resume includes parts on many of the most familiar TV series ever produced, including her first role, a brief appearance on the 1970s hit sitcom "Welcome Back, Kotter." During the remainder of the '70s, Schaal worked on classic shows including the comedy "Rhoda" and the dramas "Family" and "Little House on the Prairie." From '80 to '82, she made five appearances on the hit mystery drama "Fantasy Island," and turned up in two episodes of its sister show, "The Love Boat." Through the '80s, '90s, and into the 2000s, Schaal continued to surface in mainly single-episode guest spots on several of TV's top shows, everything from "The A-Team" to "Northern Exposure" to "Friends," as well as three episodes as Vickie Dimas on the acclaimed HBO drama "Six Feet Under" in 2002. It was finally in '05 that Schaal landed her first major role, as the voice of Francine Smith, wife of CIA agent Stan Smith, on the Fox animated series "American Dad!," created by and co-starring Seth MacFarlane of "Family Guy" fame.
