Wendel Meldrum
Wendel Meldrum was an accomplished actress who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. Meldrum had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the drama "Vamping" (1984) with Patrick Duffy, "K-9" (1989) and the action flick "Why Me?" (1990) with Christopher Lambert. She also appeared in "Diplomatic Immunity" (1991) and the Colm Feore drama "Beautiful Dreamers" (1991). She had an early role on the television special "Breakfast With Les and Bess" (PBS, 1984-85). She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Picket Fences" (CBS, 1992-96). She also starred in the TV movies "Hush Little Baby" (1993-94), "Due South" (CBS, 1993-94) and "City Boy" (PBS, 1993-94). Meldrum took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in the Brendan Fraser comedy "Blast From the Past" (1999), the Bob Balaban musical comedy "A Mighty Wind" (2003) and "Cruel But Necessary" (2005). She held additional roles in television including a part on "Promised Land" (CBS, 1996-99). Most recently, Meldrum appeared in "Partner(s)" (2005-06).
