Spring break has Claire doing some spring cleaning, while Phil struggles with not being a spring chicken when Luke starts outperforming him at seemingly everything. Haley takes Alex to a music festival to take her mind off of colleges, and Gloria and Jay challenge one another to give up Spanish soap operas and cigars respectively. However, when Gloria accompanies Cameron to his faculty talent show, she projects the soapy drama she craves onto Cam’s rivalry with Senor Kaplan, and Jay tags along with Mitchell to pick up Lily from camp so he can sneak a smoke.

On Election Day, as democracy hangs in the balance, Team Scorpion is called on when someone tries to throw the U.S. presidential election into chaos.

When Shauna takes the office to the hottest nightclub in town, Mindy meets an unlikely potential suitor named Josh, who works as a lawyer for the New York Knicks. Meanwhile, Jeremy attempts to hit on a bride-to-be, and Morgan unexpectedly makes some extra cash as the club's bathroom attendant.

June discovers that Chloe has been attending Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings, to share her crazy partying stories as well as take free booze from the alcoholics. Pepper sets Mark up on a date with one of her friends, and June struggles to hide her jealousy. Chloe tells June that she is using Mark whether she realizes it or not, and toying with his emotions. Mark admits to June that he likes her but she is unsure if she feels the same. They decide to have sex, but the result is not what they expected- it is awful. Meanwhile, James learns that he is on the short list for Woody Allen’s film “Monte Carlo, Monte Carla” but he may not get the role because Woody does not think he is deep enough.

When Kate persuades Jules and Lowell to set her up with their friend and promises to give him a chance, she wants to prove them wrong when they call her “un-setup-able.” Meanwhile, after hearing that their neighbors don’t like her and Bobby, Andi goes on a crusade to get involved in the neighborhood.
