Walter Johnson

It is true that Walter Johnson was known for running the bases, and he brought his talents to the entertainment business. Johnson's career beginnings included film roles in "Bright Eyes" (1934) with Shirley Temple Black, the mystery "Charlie Chan in London" (1934) with Warner Oland and the Charles Farrell drama "Fighting Youth" (1935). Johnson made film his next project, appearing in the Alice Faye musical "George White's 1935 Scandals" (1935), "F-Man" (1936) and the Elvis Presley musical "Jailhouse Rock" (1957). He also appeared in the drama "Hard Traveling" (1986) with J. E. Freeman. Later in his career, Johnson worked on "Chattahoochee" (1990) with Gary Oldman.
