W. Tré Davis
Born in Colorado but raised in Texas, Tre Davis first began to take an interest in acting during his teens. A self described "shy, sensitive kid," Davis did not feel at home on his school's sports teams despite his athletic talent, but with the encouragement of his drama teachers, he discovered a wealth of talent on the stage. After graduating from Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts in St. Louis, Missouri, Davis embarked on a professional career as an actor, landing a role in a production of "Hamlet" at New York's prestigious Shakespeare in the Park festival in 2008. The following year, he appeared in an off-Broadway production of "Zooman and the Sign." During much of this time, Davis was simultaneously pursuing roles on screen, at first starting small with projects like the show "Seeking: The Web Series" (YouTube, 2013-15). After a guest appearance on an episode of the long running procedural "Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit" (NBC, 1999-), and an appearance in the drama "The Cold Winter" (2016), Davis landed a recurring role on the series "Shades of Blue" (NBC, 2016-). From there, Davis booked the role of Jimmy on the military drama series "Valor" (CW, 2017-).
