Veronica "Pooh" Nash-Poleate
Before striking it big in the original YouTube video game, Veronica-Pooh Nash-Poleate worked as a high school guidance counselor in Hamilton County, Tennessee. She began broadcasting and publishing videos on her eponymous YouTube channel in July of 2015; she used the videos as a platform to discuss matters in her personal life as well as current events, exhibiting particular interest to contemporaneous animal attacks. It only took until Nash-Poleate's third video, titled "STAY OUTTA THE SHARK'S HOUSE!! !", recorded on Jul. 7, 2015, before she gained widespread fame. Nash-Poleate's good humored engagement with the subject of shark attacks and maritime safety made the video a viral hit, and earned Nash-Poleate the lasting attention of the pop culture sphere. By the following year, this upswing in popularity had earned Nash-Poleate her own television project. In September of 2016, in addition to becoming a vlogger for TLC's digital presence TLCme, it was announced that Nash-Poleate had signed a deal with TLC to develop a concept tentatively called "Miss Pooh to the Rescue."
