Valarie Rae Miller
Driven by a childhood interest in performance arts, Valarie Rae Miller had several commercial appearances and a brief run as a stand-up comic under her belt by the time she reached her early 20s. After turning down an opportunity to take her comedy routine on the road, Miller moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting and landed guest roles on the sitcoms "Family Matters," "In the House," and "Malcolm & Eddie." The energy she brought to the children's game show "Gladiators 2000" (1994) garnered her further hosting duties on the group-think competition series "Peer Pressure" and the family-friendly animation block "One Saturday Morning." Known for frequently thriving in the role of the sassy but loyal friend in youth-oriented genre series, Miller portrayed a beleaguered pal on the demon-hunter dramedy "Reaper" as well as the third-person-prone bisexual 'Original Cindy' on the bio-punk adventure show "Dark Angel." In the 2000s, she began receiving major roles in such frenetic action films as "Crank" and "All About the Benjamins."
