Utpal Dutt

Utpal Dutt was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Dutt appeared in such films as "Shakespeare Wallah" (1966), "Bhuvan Shome" (1969) and "The Guru" (1969). He kept working in film throughout the seventies and the early 2000s, starring in the drama "Prem Vivah" (1979) with Asha Parekh, "Aaj Ka Robin Hood" (1988) and "Jawani Zindabad" (1990). He also appeared in the drama "The Middleman" (1995) with Pradip Mukherji and the drama "The Stranger" (1995) with Deepankar De. Most recently, Dutt wrote the Jisshu Sengupta drama "The Last Lear" (2008).
