Trevor Devall
Prolific voice actor Trevor Devall lent his talents to a dizzying array of characters in American, Canadian and Japanese animated series and features, including "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" (Hub Network/Discovery Family, 2010-) and "Guardians of the Galaxy" (Disney XD, 2015-). Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Devall performed theater and dance as a child and studied drama at the University of Alberta. In 1998, he moved to Vancouver to pursue a career in feature film direction, but found more immediate work as a voice actor for animated movies and television. His earliest credits were English language dubs for popular Japanese anime series like "Mobile Suit Gundam" (Nagoya Broadcasting Network, 1979-1980) and "InuYasha" (NNS, 2000-2004), but English-language, Canadian-produced projects like "X-Men: Evolution" (Kids' WB, 2000-2003) and "Kid vs. Kat" (YTV, 2008-2011) soon followed. By the mid-2000s, Devall was providing multiple voices for Disney XD's "Lego Star Wars" miniseries and contributing to feature animated films like "Escape from Planet Earth" (2013) while also continuing to voice numerous characters for popular episodic animated series for Walt Disney's television channels like "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic," "Sofia the First" (Disney Jr., 2013-) and "Guardians of the Galaxy." He also produced and hosted his own podcast, "Voiceprint with Trevor Devall & Guests," which featured interviews with prominent voice actors.
