Tom Villard

Tom Villard was an actor who lit up the silver screen many times with his sidesplitting comedic genius. He also appeared in the TV movie "Sidney Shorr: A Girl's Best Friend" (NBC, 1981-82). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "We Got It Made" (NBC, 1983-84). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Whacked Out" (NBC, 1981-82) and "Revenge of the Gray Gang" (NBC, 1981-82). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in "Surf II" (1984), "The Trouble With Dick" (1986) and the John Cusack comedy "One Crazy Summer" (1986). He also appeared in "Weekend Warriors" (1986). Villard also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Whore" (1991) with Theresa Russell, the Dan Aykroyd dramedy "My Girl" (1991) and the Bobcat Goldthwait black comedy "Shakes the Clown" (1992). He also appeared in the comedic adventure "In the Army Now" (1994) with Pauly Shore. He also was featured in the TV movie "Swimsuit" (NBC, 1988-89). Villard more recently appeared in "Tom Clancy's Op Center" (1994-95). Villard passed away in November 1994 at the age of 41.
