Tom Musgrave
Actor Tom Musgrave's Midwestern upbringing paid off in 2014 when he gained his big break as a nebbishy, North Dakota-based insurance company manager on "Fargo" (FX, 2014-). Raised in Valley City, North Dakota, Musgrave received his bachelor's degree in theater from Minnesota State University Moorehead in 1998. He appeared in several student and independent features lensed in the Midwest before relocating to Los Angeles; there, he trained with the Upright Citizens Brigarde before making his television debut on an episode of "That '80s Show" (Fox, 2002). Following a minor role in the direct-to-video comedy "Beethoven's 5th" in 2003, Musgrave worked largely in television commercials and on the Los Angeles theater scene until 2014, when he was cast as insurance company owner Bo Munk in the first season of "Fargo." Musgrave remained in the orbit of the show's producers, Joel and Ethan Coen, with a supporting role in the '50s-era show business comedy "Hail, Caesar!" (2016).
