Tom Fadden

Tom Fadden was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Fadden started his acting career landing roles in such films as the James Stewart remake "Destry Rides Again" (1939), "I Stole a Million" (1939) and "Congo Maisie" (1940). He also appeared in the John Wayne drama "The Shepherd of the Hills" (1941), the Mary Martin adaptation "Kiss the Boys Goodbye" (1941) and "Wings For the Eagle" (1942) with Ann Sheridan. He continued to act in productions like "The Big Sleep" (1946), the James Stewart dramatic adaptation "It's a Wonderful Life" (1946) and the western "Cheyenne" (1947) with Dennis Morgan. He also appeared in "Dark Passage" (1947). In the latter part of his career, he continued to act in the horror film "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (1956) with Kevin McCarthy, "Baby Face Nelson" (1957) and the Cornel Wilde action flick "Edge of Eternity" (1959). He also appeared in "Toby Tyler" (1960) and the dramatic adaptation "Flaming Star" (1960) with Elvis Presley. Fadden more recently acted in the Joan Collins thriller "Empire of the Ants" (1977). Fadden passed away in April 1980 at the age of 85.
