Tom Daly

Tom Daly was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Daly kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "My Gal Loves Music" (1944) with Bob Crosby, "The Spider Woman Strikes Back" (1946) and "Gog" (1954) with Richard Egan. He also appeared in the drama "Jet Pilot" (1957) with John Wayne and "The 27th Day" (1957). Daly was nominated for a Short Subject (Live Action) Academy Award for "City Of Gold" in 1957. He continued to act in productions like the Gerald Mohr sci-fi picture "The Angry Red Planet" (1959), the Edmond O'Brien suspenseful adaptation "The Third Voice" (1960) and the adventure "Cycle Savages" (1970) with Bruce Dern. In the eighties and the nineties, Daly lent his talents to projects like "An American Tail" with Cathianne Blore (1986), "Poison Ivy" with Sara Gilbert (1992) and "Secret Friends" (1992) starring Alan Bates. His credits also expanded to "Carrington" with Emma Thompson (1995). Most recently, Daly worked on "Downtown" (MTV, 1999-2000).
