Thorsten Kaye
Actor Thorston Kaye was born in Frankfurt, West Germany. He spent his childhood in the German city of Mainz as well as in London. At the age of 19, Kaye came to the United States on a decathlon scholarship to United States International University in San Diego, CA. While at the university, Kaye's major was physical education, and his minor was drama. He later switched his major to drama, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in fine arts. Following his college graduation, Kaye joined a rugby union tour of Europe. Upon finishing his time abroad, Kaye returned to the United States where he enrolled at Detroit's Wayne State University graduate program. There he earned a master's degree in theater and theater history. Following graduation, Kaye participated in a number of theater productions in Detroit as part of the Hilberry Repertory Company. He also appeared in stage productions in London. Kaye moved to Los Angeles in hopes of garnering roles in film and television. In 1991 he had his first TV movie role as an airport agent in "Deadly Desire." He followed this up with appearances in several soap operas, including "Port Charles" (ABC 1997-2003), "All My Children" (ABC 1970-2011) and "The Bold and the Beautiful"(CBS 1987-).
