Tego Calderón

Tego Calderón was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Miami, Florida while he was young. His exposure to various cultures and musical influences is what gives Calderón his own unique style that contains elements of hip-hop, salsa and other musical genres. In the 1990s, he competed in a televised hip hop contest where he met rapper/singer/dancer Eddie Dee. In 2000, Calderón collaborated with Dee and signed on to his label. Calderón's music has been in "After the Sunset" (2004), "White Chicks" (2004) and several films in the "Fast & Furious" franchise. Calderón also has acting credits in "Fast & Furious" (2009), "Fast Five" (2011) and "The Fate of the Furious" (2017).
