Ted Willis
Cited in "The Guiness Book of World Records" as the world's most prolific TV writer, Willis created 41 TV serials, wrote 37 stage plays, penned scripts for 39 feature films, churned out radio scripts and generated a dozen novels. He was also one of the pioneers of British "kitchen sink" drama in the late 1950s, producing gritty, realistic stories set in a working-class milieu.
