Ted Ross
Ted Ross was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Ross worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Sirota's Court" (NBC, 1976-77). He also starred in the TV movies "Minstrel Man" (1976-77), "Death Penalty" (NBC, 1979-1980) and "F.D.R. -- The Last Year" (NBC, 1979-1980). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Parole" (CBS, 1981-82). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the Dudley Moore comedy "Arthur" (1981), the horror film "Amityville II: The Possession" (1982) with James Olson and the action film "Fighting Back" (1982) with Tom Skerritt. He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "High Five" (NBC, 1981-82) and "Fraud Squad" (ABC, 1984-85). He spent the eighties tackling film roles in "Police Academy" (1984), the Dudley Moore comedy sequel "Arthur 2 On The Rocks" (1988) and "Stealing Home" (1988) with Mark Harmon. Ross more recently acted in "The Fisher King" (1991). Ross passed away in September 2002 at the age of 68.
