Ted Nugent
Ted Nugent was born in Michigan. Nugent was the lead guitarist for the psychedelic rock band The Amboy Dukes. The group played regularly at a popular dance club in Illinois. Nugent, along with Derek St. Holmes, Clifford Davies and Rob Grange signed to Epic Records and dropped the Amboy Dukes name. These were the band members when the albums "Ted Nugent," "Free-for-All" and "Cat Scratch Fever" were released. Throughout his career he has put out over fifteen albums. As an outspoken member of the Republican party, Nugent was making a name for himself outside of music. He supports several conservative causes and is often vocal about his political views. He has made public declarations regarding running for political office, but to date has not. In April, 2023 he announced his "last tour," on social media.
