Tara Summers

Lovely British actress Tara Summers began her career in film but has seen more screen time on TV in courtroom dramas such as "Boston Legal" and "Damages." The granddaughter of world-champion bridge player Fritzi Gordon, Summers studied at Brown and at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art before finding her first film role in the 2003 teen comedy "What a Girl Wants." Roles followed as Brigid Polk, the eccentric friend of Andy Warhol, in "Factory Girl"; and one of the many beautiful women in the life of "Alfie," in the 2004 remake featuring Jude Law as the title's conflicted Casanova. Summers then found steady work in television, most notably as an attorney on "Boston Legal," which saw award nominations for its ensemble cast from the Screen Actors Guild both years she was on the show. She followed in the same vein in a recurring role as an ambitious associate on the Glenn Close-helmed "Damages."
