Tania Raymonde

Tania Raymonde made her television breakthrough at age 12 as Cynthia Sanders, Malcolm's brief crush and eventually just friend on the Fox comedy "Malcolm in the Middle." At 14, she made her film debut as the star of the indie family comedy "Children on Their Birthdays" and then confined her projects to a few brief TV appearances until 2006, when she both returned to film, in the independent drama "The Garage," and landed the part of Alex Rousseau on ABC's mega-hit "Lost," in a recurring role that nearly lasted until the end of the series. That same year, Raymonde took her first stab at filmmaking--writing and directing the dramatic short "Cell Division." Over the course of her "Lost" run, Raymonde also had a recurring role on the crime drama "Cold Case" and appeared in several low-budget films, including a starring role in the virgin-themed comedy "Wild Cherry" in 2009. She subsequently joined the cast of the supernatural cop comedy "Death Valley" as monster-fighting officer Carla Rinaldi and had a recurring role on the soapy drama "90210."
