Tala Ashe
Born in Iran, Tala Ashe emigrated to the US with her family as a child and grew up in Ohio. She began working onscreen in 2008, when she appeared in a supporting role in "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010) and also landed a recurring role on the soap opera "As the World Turns" (CBS, 1956-2010). Ashe landed her first prime time recurring role in 2011, when she appeared in six episodes of "Smash" (NBC, 2012-13) the highly-anticipated show that followed the behind the scenes drama behind a Broadway musical. She earned another recurring spot on in the international thriller "American Odyssey" (NBC, 2015). The show was a modern take on Homer's Odyssey, incorporating corporations terrorism and the modern military into the epic tale. Ashe appeared in her first series regular role when she joined the DC superhero show "Legends of Tomorrow" (The CW, 2016-), before the third season.
