Sydelle Noel
Sydelle Noel was an American actress who was best known for her roles on the popular TV shows "GLOW" (Netflix, 2017-) and "Arrow" (The CW, 2012-). Raised in Hollywood, Florida, Noel never intended on becoming an actress. Her first love was sports and all throughout high school she excelled in track and field. By the time she entered the University of Georgia on a track and field scholarship, Noel had one single focus: to make it to the Olympics. However, after multiple injuries, Noel had to hang up her running shoes permanently. Sad and feeling a bit lost without sports, Noel decided on a whim to pack her bags and move to California to become a sports model. Her sports modeling work eventually led to commercials, which soon led to a career in acting. She quickly landed small parts on TV shows like "Private Practice" (ABC, 2007-2013) and "Everybody Hates Chris" (The CW, 2005-09). Noel continued nabbing bit roles on TV shows throughout the remainder of the 2000s, but by the early 2010s she had begun adding film parts to her growing number of credits. In 2012 she nabbed a part in the film "Good Satan" (2012), and in 2013 appeared in "Expecting" (2013), "Things Never Said" (2013) and "Douglass U" (2013). Then in 2017 Noel landed her first big break when she joined the cast of the Netflix wrestling series "GLOW." 2017 was also the year Noel began a recurring part on the superhero series "Arrow." 2018 proved to be an even bigger year for Noel. In addition to continuing her role on "Arrow," she also appeared in the smash blockbuster superhero film "Black Panther" (2018), playing Dora Milaje.
