Suzanne Vega

Suzanne Vega, a talented musician, produced music for many Hollywood productions. Vega worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including"Pretty in Pink" with Molly Ringwald (1986), "The 1st International Rock Awards" (ABC, 1988-89) and "The 30th Annual Grammy Awards" (CBS, 1987-88). She also contributed to "Tropical Rock: A Hot Night in Ibiza" (Showtime, 1988-89) and "Women & Men II" (HBO, 1990-91). In addition to other aspects of her resume, Vega also provided music for such motions pictures as the Christian Slater drama "Untamed Heart" (1993) and "The Interview" (1995). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Sessions at West 54th" (PBS, 1997-2000). Additionally, she could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Lou Reed: Rock and Roll Heart" (PBS, 1997-98) and "Women in Song: The Best of Austin City Limits" (PBS, 1998-99). Vega also contributed music to the Matthew Lillard comedic drama "The Curve" (1998). Vega most recently appeared on "Life 360" (PBS, 2001-02).
