Stuart Nisbet
Born in Los Angeles, the prolific character actor Stuart Nisbet was acting professionally by the time he was in his mid-20s. Starting with a small role on "The Tab Hunter Show" in 1960, Nisbet performed in countless classic television shows throughout the rest of the decade. His work includes small appearances on such beloved programs as the supernatural sitcom "Bewitched," the anthology series "The Twilight Zone," and the crackling espionage drama "Mission: Impossible." He also appeared on successful westerns including "Bonanza" and "The Virginian," in addition to playing numerous roles on the police procedural "Dragnet 1967." Nisbet continued to act throughout the 1970s, primarily on television, with appearances but, during the 1980s and 1990s, the actor's pace slowed considerably, though he still appeared on many popular shows of the era including such staples as the geriatric comedy "The Golden Girls," the mystery series "Murder, She Wrote," and the lifeguard melodrama "Baywatch."
