Steve Tannen

Actor-musician Steve Tannen made a splash in Hollywood both on and off-screen. Tannen's acting career began mostly with his roles in various films, such as the sci-fi motion picture "Capricorn One" (1978) with Elliott Gould, the horror movie "Blue Sunshine" (1979) with Zalman King and the comedy "Lunch Wagon" (1980) with Pamela Bryant. He also was featured in the miniseries "Eleanor and Franklin" (1975-76). He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Lacy and the Mississippi Queen" (NBC, 1977-78) and "Terror Out of the Sky" (CBS, 1978-79). He continued to act in productions like "She's Having A Baby" (1988), "The Nest" (1988) and "Corporate Affairs" (1990). He also appeared in the action movie "Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man" (1991) with Mickey Rourke. Tannen's music was also featured in the Jennifer Aniston dramatic comedy "Friends With Money" (2006), the romantic comedy "Because I Said So" (2007) with Diane Keaton and the Jane Fonda comedic drama "Georgia Rule" (2007). His music was also featured in the Ben Stiller romantic comedy "The Heartbreak Kid" (2007) and the Sarah Jessica Parker blockbuster dramatic adaptation "Sex and the City" (2008). Tannen's music was most recently used in "Wish I Was Here" (2014) with Zach Braff.
