Stefanie von Pfetten
Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, actress Stefanie Von Pfetten has an undeniable regal bearing, with her fine facial features and piercing blue eyes. She looks like royalty, which she technically is. Her father, who is German, is a baron and Stefanie is herself a baroness. The frequently chaotic, always unreliable life of a thespian was the path that she chose to pursue, and Von Pfetten has consistently been working in film and television since 1999. Most of her work has been for the small screen, particularly in horror, fantasy, and science fiction productions. She has had small parts in the science-fiction shows "First Wave," "Seven Days," and "Andromeda," but she's also appeared in much bigger roles in a number of low-budget horror movies, including "The Invitation," starring genre vet Lance Henriksen; "Decoys," starring Corey Sevier," and "Ba'al," starring Jeremy London. Fans of the rebooted "Battlestar Galactica" may know her best from her small but memorable part in a single episode of the show, which featured the actress appearing as Captain Marcia ''Showboat'' Case. Von Pfetten's character later returned in the television movie "Battlestar Galactica: Razor." In the fantasy adventure film "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief," she appeared as the beautiful goddess, Demeter.
