Stan Ross

Throughout his entertainment career as an accomplished actor, Stan Ross graced the silver screen many times. Ross's career began by acting in comedies like "Campus Sleuth" (1948) with Freddie Stewart and June Preisser, "Ma and Pa Kettle at Home" (1954) with Marjorie Main and Percy Kilbride and "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" (1970) with Dolly Reed and Cynthia Myers. Ross worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Jackie Gleason and His American Scene Magazine" (CBS, 1962-66). He continued to act in productions like the Woody Allen comedy "Sleeper" (1973), "Dr. Heckyl & Mr. Hype" (1980) with Oliver Reed and "The Private Eyes" (1980) with Tim Conway. He also appeared in "Wholly Moses!" (1980) featuring Dudley Moore. During the latter half of his career, he continued to act in the Season Hubley drama "Vice Squad" (1982), the drama "Mask" (1985) with Cher and the Ben Frank action film "Hollywood Zap" (1986). Ross most recently appeared on the Lou Adler documentary "The Wrecking Crew" (2015).
