Stan Kamber

Stan Kamber was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Kamber's career in acting began with his roles in various films like "The Young Lions" (1958), the adaptation "Warlock" (1959) with Richard Widmark and "Cactus in the Snow" (1971) with Richard Thomas. He also appeared in the thriller "Welcome Home, Brother Charles" (1975) with Marlo Monte. Following that project, Kamber worked on mostly television programs, including "Training Camp: The Bulls Are Back" (HBO, 1985-86) and "L.A. Law" (NBC, 1986-1994). He also starred in the TV movies "The Last Precinct" (NBC, 1985-86) and "Destination: America" (ABC, 1986-87). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles on "1st & Ten: Going For Broke" (HBO, 1987-88) and "1st & Ten: The Bulls Mean Business" (HBO, 1988-89). He also was featured in the TV movies "Sister Margaret and the Saturday Night Ladies" (CBS, 1986-87) and "Out on the Edge" (CBS, 1988-89). Kamber more recently acted on "Doogie Howser, M.D." (ABC, 1989-1993).
