Sophina Brown

Actress Sophina Brown was most recognized for her roles in television. Brown began her acting career playing characters on a variety of series including "As the World Turns" (1955-2010), "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010) and "Strangers With Candy" (Comedy Central, 1998-2001). She also appeared in "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1999-), "The Education of Max Bickford" (CBS, 2001-02) and "Hack" (CBS, 2002-04). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the early 2000s, appearing on "Without A Trace" (CBS, 2002-09) and "Committed" (NBC, 2005). She also worked in film during these years, including a part on the romantic comedy "Because I Said So" (2007) with Diane Keaton. Recently, she tackled roles on "Shark" (2006-08), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (CBS, 2009-) and "Castle" (ABC, 2009-2016). She also appeared in "Scream" (MTV, 2015-). Brown most recently acted on "Zoo" (CBS, 2015-).
