Sheldon Lewis

Sheldon Lewis was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Lewis appeared in such films as "The Exploits of Elaine" (1914), "The Iron Claw" (1916) and the dramatic adaptation "Orphans of the Storm" (1922) with Lillian Gish. He also appeared in "The Dangerous Flirt" (1924). He continued to act in productions like "The Enemy Sex" (1924), the John Barrymore adventure "Don Juan" (1926) and "Señor Daredevil" (1926). He also appeared in "The Little Wild Girl" (1928). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Firebrand Jordan" (1930), "The Monster Walks" (1932) with Rex Lease and the Ken Maynard western "Tombstone Canyon" (1932). He also appeared in "Gun Justice" (1933). Lewis last acted in "The Cattle Thief" (1936). Lewis passed away in May 1958 at the age of 90.
