Shavar Ross
Shavar Ross is an American actor closely identified with his childhood stint on the adored television series "Diff'rent Strokes." In 1980, Ross was cast on the popular sitcom as Dudley Ramsey, the best friend of Arnold Jackson, played by Gary Coleman. Ross appeared in more than 40 episodes of the show over the course of six years, and, during this time, he was also featured on other productions, including episodes of "Benson" and "The Love Boat" and the horror film "Friday the 13th: A New Beginning." Ross later guest-starred on "Magnum, P.I." and "Growing Pains," and, in '92, he took on the recurring role of Weasel on the sitcom "Family Matters." After the mid-'90s, Ross largely followed pursuits outside of acting, becoming involved in church work, as well as directing, writing, and producing inspirational videos, including his 2003 short film "Soul to Take" and the '07 comedy "Lord Help Us."
