Shauna Sand

A scandalous beauty, Shauna Sand made headlines by marrying Lorenzo Lamas, but continued to fascinate on her own long after their 2002 divorce. Born in San Diego, CA, Shauna Sand achieved fame as Playboy's May 1996 Playmate of the Month as well as for marrying Lorenzo Lamas. She made a string of appearances on her husband's popular action series "Renegade" (syndicated, 1992-94; USA Network, 1995-97) and carved out a career in B-movies, including "Black Dawn" (1997), "The Chosen One: Legend of the Raven" (1998) and "The Circuit 2: The Final Punch" (2002). She earned a larger role on her husband's follow-up series, "Air America" (syndicated, 1998-99), but the two split in 2002. Although Sand booked guest spots on such high-profile series as "Charmed" (The WB, 1998-2006) and "Las Vegas" (NBC, 2003-08), she mostly appeared in steamy video projects for Playboy and other outlets. Given her propensity for scandal and seductiveness, Sand became a popular gossip blog fixture, particularly on the popular site Dlisted.com, where she earned frequent tongue-in-cheek but affectionate compliments on her beauty, glamour and Lucite-heeled fashion. She also stirred up the drama on her ex-husband's reality show "Leave it to Lamas" (E!, 2009) but ran into real-life legal troubles when she and her considerably younger third husband accused each other of domestic violence before divorcing in 2011. Achieving an international profile, Sand, who was fluent in the language, earned a role on the French series "Hollywood Girls" (NRJ12, 2012-).
