Shaun Sipos

Shaun Sipos's youthful good looks were certainly not a hindrance to his landing a recurring role on a major television program so early in his career. With only one minor credit to his name, he won the part of Nick Gibson, the main character's boyfriend, on the comedy program "Maybe It's Me," about the life of a teenage girl and her quirky family. His nine episodes on the program gave him valuable experience and introduced him to the public. He was able to follow up that role with more teen-oriented roles, such as playing Chloe's Boy Thing on the young Superman TV drama "Smallville," and in 2004 he was chosen by Mel Gibson, who was producing, to play the part of the cool and popular oldest son, Jack Savage, on "Complete Savages," a sitcom that starred Keith Carradine as the crusty single father of five rowdy boys. When that show ended the next year, Sipos had a starring film role, alongside Ray Liotta, in the romantic comedy "Comeback Season," as injured football star Skylar Eckerman. In 2009, he landed another high-profile role on the prime-time soap "Melrose Place," a return of the 1990s program of the same name, playing David Breck, son of Dr. Michael Mancini, a character from the original show. Despite the anticipation surrounding the series, it was cancelled due to poor ratings after only one season.
