Shane Edelman

Shane Edelman was an actor who made a successful career for himself in film. He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Murphy Brown" (CBS, 1988-1998). He also starred in the TV movies "Stranger in the Family" (1991-92), "Terror in the Shadows" (NBC, 1995-96) and "Thrill" (NBC, 1995-96). He then appeared in "The Center of the World" (2001) with Peter Sarsgaard, the crime drama "See Jane Run (Sarah Thorp/Doug Liman)" (2002) with Clea DuVall and the Leonardo DiCaprio blockbuster crime picture "Catch Me If You Can" (2002). He spent the early 2000s and the 2010s tackling film roles in "Flightplan" (2005), the romantic comedy "He's Just Not That Into You" (2009) with Jennifer Aniston and the dramatic adaptation "State of Play" (2009) with Russell Crowe. He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "Day Break" (2006-07) and "Shameless" (Showtime, 2010-). Edelman most recently acted on "The Finder" (Fox, 2011-12).
