Sevyn Streeter
American singer Sevyn Streeter, also known as Se7en, was born in Haines City, Florida. Her interest in music started at an early age, as she grew up singing in church and in talent shows. By age 10, she competed in "Showtime at the Apollo" (Syndication, 1987-2008), coming in first place. Streeter closed her first record deal as a teenager with the girl group TG4. With an album shelved and only two singles out, the group eventually disbanded, but Streeter's career didn't stop there: She took on the name Se7en as part of the group RichGirl. They went on to open for Beyoncè before disbanding as well, and Streeter continued to perform as a solo act. She collaborated with Chris Brown in her debut album, "Call Me Crazy, But " (2013), which debuted on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart at number 5. She went on to release new albums and was featured in the soundtrack for the movie "Furious 7" (2015).
