Serayah
Singer and actress Serayah vaulted into the pop culture spotlight as the risqué singer Tiana Brown on "Empire" (Fox, 2015-) and in an appearance as one of Taylor Swift's female army in the music video for "Bad Blood." Born Serayah Ranee McNeill in Encinitas, California on June 20, 1995, she began singing in her church choir and gained her first acting experience in local theater productions. After graduating from Taft High School in Woodland Hills, California, Serayah began pursuing her show business aspirations at the professional level, booking appearances in television commercials and print advertising and landing her first major singing engagement at the Radio Disney Christmas concert in 2012. Two years later, her music and acting career took off in earnest with an appearance in Taylor Swift's action-fantasy music video for the single "Bad Blood," and a recurring role as Tiana Brown, an outspoken music artist on the drama series "Empire." Serayah's performance as the aggressive, bisexual singer won her not only a following among the show's viewers, but also a promotion to series regular in its second season.
