Ser Anzoategui

Ser Anzoategui was born, in Huntington Park, CA. They first studied writing and performance at Rio Hondo College, a community college in Whittier, CA, between 1999 and 2004 before enrolling in Loyola Marymount University, whence they received a bachelor's degree in theater in 2005. Following graduation, Anzoategui began writing and performing in live shows as well as other stage and film projects. They made their feature film debut with a small role in the thriller "Interstate" (2007) and appeared in plays like "Evangeline the Queen of Make Believe" in 2012. Anzoategui kicked off their small screen career with a one-off part on the popular musical dramedy series "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" (The CW 2015-), following this up with a regular role on the high school drama "East Los High" (Hulu 2013-17). Along with one-off roles on other popular series like "You're the Worst" (FX 2014-) and "Shameless" (Showtime 2011-), Anzoategui landed another recurring part via the series "Vida" (Starz! 2018-), as well as a role in the feature film "Sargasso" (2018) starring Tom Berenger.
