Sebastien Andrieu
With his sharp cheekbones, Cupid's bow lips, and sultry eyes, male model Sebastien Andrieu possesses the striking good looks that seem to guarantee success as a leading man. Yet Andrieu's career as an actor has only just begun. The French pretty boy made his film debut in 2004 with a small role in the French-Italian co-production "Look at Me," a music-driven dramedy that centered on a young songstress's crippling lack of self-esteem. Just two years later, he scored a much more prominent film role opposite model turned international action star Milla Jovovich in the sci-fi action thriller "Ultraviolet." The future-set feature told a complicated tale of a vampire virus that was overtaking humanity; Andrieu played one of the underground resistance fighters who seek to save the infected from the genocide-seeking government. Unfortunately, critics universally panned the picture, which barely broke even at the box office. While this film flop seems to have stalled Andrieu's acting ambitions, he continues to thrive as an international model, walking the illustrious runways of Milan and Paris for such top designers as Jil Sander, Valentino, and Versace. Additionally he has gone on to appear in H&M's 2010 holiday campaign as well as editorial spreads for L'Officiel Hommes, Vogue Turkey, and Dazed & Confused.
