Sean Gunn
A native of St. Louis, Sean Gunn is a character actor best known for his role on the television series "Gilmore Girls." Like his older brother, filmmaker/actor James Gunn, he started out in low-budget independent movies, appearing in a supporting role in the late-1990s horror/comedy outing "Tromeo and Juliet." After being featured in other little-seen indie fare, Gunn began to turn up on episodes of TV shows, including the supernatural series "Angel" and the sitcom "Brutally Normal," and he starred in the 2000 superhero spoof, "The Specials," which his brother wrote and he co-produced. The same year, Gunn signed on to the comedy/drama show "Gilmore Girls" as quirky supporting character Kirk Gleason, and he appeared throughout the show's seven-season run. After "Gilmore Girls" ended in '07, Gunn went on to a recurring role in the TV drama "October Road," and worked with his brothers James and Brian on a series of made-for-TV comedy shorts entitled "PG Porn." Gunn has since had roles in "Guardians of the Galaxy" (2014), "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" (2017), "Avengers: Infinity War" (2018), "Avengers, Endgame" (2019), "Thor: Love and Thunder" (2022) and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" (2023).
