Sean Evans
American YouTuber Sean Evans is widely known for creating and hosting the series "Hot Ones" (2015-), where he interviews celebrities as they eat spicy chicken wings. Evans grew up in Chicago and graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in broadcast journalism. He used to interview celebrities as a freelancer for Complex Magazine until they eventually hired him full-time. Evans wanted to explore a fresh take on interviews, however, and came up with the concept for "Hot Ones" alongside co-creator and host Chris Schonberger. Over the years, the online show has amassed interviews with hundreds of celebrities, such as Cate Blanchett, Shaquille O'Neil, Selma Hayek and Matt Damon. The series "Hot Ones: The Game Show" (TruTV, 2020) was a spin off based on the YouTube attraction, which Evans also hosted. Besides appearing on a number of talk shows as a guest, and on the series "Loot" (AppleTV, 2022-) as himself, Evans was also nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host, and won many Internet entertainment awards including the Shorty, the Lovie, and the Webby.
