In 1998, Peters wrote the television movie "Lost Souls" and started writing for "The Outer Limits," doing six scripts for that spooky anthology series. After "The 4400" ended its run in 2007, the next year Peters directed one episode of the sci-fi series "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles." Peters also helped to develop the alien drama "V."
