Scott Clifton
Actor Scott Clifton was born in Los Angeles to parents Ron and Faye Clifton. Clifton's interest in acting was piqued as a child when his mother handed her son a copy of Shakespeare's "Hamlet" to keep him occupied. He fell in love with the play, and quickly memorized most of it. At the age of 16, Clifton began acting in commercials and making appearances on television series, such as "Roswell" (UPN 1999-2002), "Judging Amy" (CBS 1999-2005) and "Undressed" (MTV 1999-2002). In 2003, Clifton was cast as Dillon Quartermaine on the long-running daytime hospital drama "General Hospital" (ABC 1963-). Clifton did not renew his contract when it expired in 2007, but returned to show for a couple of guest appearances. Following his departure from the show, Clifton faced chronic unemployment as the WGA writer's strike began shortly after he had left. Finally, in 2008 he was cast in the role of Schuyler Joplin, a high school teacher, on daytime drama "One Life to Live" (ABC 1968-2013). His character was a part of the show until 2010, at which time Clifton took the role of Liam Spencer on "The Bold and the Beautiful" (CBS 1987-).
