Sarah Thompson
While she's only been acting since the late '90s, Sarah Thompson has already appeared in a number of films and television shows, where she's specialized in outsiders and precocious ingenues. One of her earliest roles was as a high school student named Dana Poole, a girl who pursued a romantic relationship with a teacher in the drama series "Boston Public." During this time, she also co-starred in "Cruel Intentions 2," a 2000 comedy originally intended to launch a television series entitled "Manchester Prep." In the film, she played Danielle Sherman, the school headmaster's daughter and seeming "good girl" who becomes the target of campus lothario, with unexpected results. After "Cruel Intentions 2" proved to be a hit on video, she appeared in two television series with a significant number of young viewers, each time portraying characters who are not completely trusted by the main cast. In the action/horror series "Angel," she played Eve, the heroes' liaison to a group of inter-dimensional demons masquerading as a law firm. In the drama series "7th Heaven," she played the self-absorbed and conflicted Rose Taylor from 2005 to 2006. Although initially unlikable, her character went through a period of personal reevaluation before parting from the show. Throughout the decade, Thompson also appeared as a guest star in various television dramas and feature films such as the crime drama series "Without a Trace " in 2007 and the medical drama "House M.D." in 2008.
