Logan and Greevey investigate the supposed suicide-hanging of the photographer-artist Victor More. Greevey is stunned to learn that More died as a result of asphyxiation during a state of sexual arousal. More's photographs and sculptures depict sado-masochistic sexual forays. They are unable to receive full information from his wife, Sondra, who can't admit her husband was bi-sexual. However, his daughter, Sintra, is convinced that her father was murdered.

With tensions high between new partners Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Curtis (Benjamin Bratt), they investigate the murder of a rich NYU student who frequented biker bars. Detectives soon learn that the the victim's father had offered him $10,000 to drop his biker hobby -and his biker girlfriend.

Caplan and Becker (Sam Schacht) are longtime partners in a thriving retail store, when one night three NYU students returning to campus in the middle of the night find Caplan dead in the basement of the establishment. Detectives question Sal Bonafiglio (Joe Maruzzo), the only employee with a serious record, who had been arrested and convicted of multiple burglaries. Bonafiglio denies any involvement but they discover his cohort in crime is Eddie Novello (Matthew Dixon). When detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) approach Eddie for questioning, he is carrying a gym bag with several women's jackets that have Becker & Caplan labels...
