Sally Lindsay
Sally Lindsay's earliest roles included guest-starring appearances on British television, which led to one of her best-known parts: that of Shelley Unwin on the long-running soap "Coronation Street." During her run on the show--lasting from 2001 to 2006--the character became a fan favorite. After leaving, Lindsay spent the next few years working mostly on-stage; however, beginning in the 2010s, she returned to British television with "Scallywagga," a sketch show, and the comedy-drama "Mount Pleasant," in which she starred as a working-class woman dealing with professional and marital issues. Lindsay also helped create the crime series "Scott & Bailey" and has appeared in several episodes.
