Sabrina LeBeauf

New Orleans born Sabrina LeBeauf is best-known as Sondra Huxtable, the eldest daughter, of the 1980s staple "The Cosby Show." After moving to Los Angeles as a child she studied Theater Arts at UCLA and later received an MFA from Yale Drama School. She then moved to New York to continue working on her craft, notably with the Group Theater, which she helped found. She'd return to theater throughout her career, and has appeared in a number of Shakespeare productions in the U.S. and the U.K. In 1984, she was cast opposite famous comedian Bill Cosby on "The Cosby Show." She won the role Sondra, beating out then little-known Whitney Houston. LaBeauf was featured on the show throughout its acclaimed eight-season run. After the sitcom wrapped in 1992, she moved on to a guest spot on the popular science fiction series "Star Trek: The Next Generation," and later re-united with Cosby on his Emmy Award-winning sitcom "Cosby" in 1999. She decided it was time to follow another of her passions and enrolled in the UCLA Professional Interior Design Program, and went on to open her own business. She returned to TV in 2004 to voice Norma Bindlebeep on Cosby's animated series "Fatherhood."
