Ryan Sypek

Ryan Sypek had his first taste of acting in the sixth grade. After finishing high school, he studied Fine Arts at Boston University in Massachusetts. While there, he performed in various stage productions such as "The Grapes of Wrath" and "The Merchant of Venice." He further honed his craft by studying at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in England for one semester. He was working as a valet, parking cars at the ritzy Beverly Hills Hotel when he landed his first television role. In 2005, after auditioning for a different part, he was cast as Junior Davis, the son of the owner of a horse racing farm, in the drama "Wildfire," which was focused on horse racing and the people involved. He played the role of the rich kid who likes to gamble for the entire four-season run of the program. When the program was canceled in 2008, he landed his first film role, playing tough drill sergeant Mills Evans in the Jessica Simpson comedy vehicle "Major Movie Star" (which was later renamed "Private Valentine: Blonde and Dangerous"). In 2010, he took on another recurring role playing Robert in three episodes of the comedy "Squatters," about two young men trying to live rent-free in Manhattan.
