Ruth Silveira
Ruth Silveira was an accomplished actress who appeared in a variety of films throughout her Hollywood career. Silveira had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as "Bloody Birthday" (1980) with Susan Strasberg, the George Burns comedy sequel "Oh, God! Book II" (1980) and the drama "Man, Woman and Child" (1983) with Martin Sheen. She also appeared in "Micki & Maude" (1984) with Dudley Moore and "Dad" (1989). She also appeared in the TV movie "A Question of Love" (NBC, 1978-79). In the eighties and the nineties, Silveira devoted her time to various credits, such as the Jessica Tandy and Morgan Freeman smash hit "Driving Miss Daisy" (1989), "Wedding Band" (1990) starring William Katt and "Rambling Rose" (1991). She also worked on "Raising Cain" with John Lithgow (1992). Silveira most recently acted on "Ben & Kate" (Fox, 2012-13).
