Russell Porter
Russell Porter was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Porter had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as "The Betsy" (1978), the Ellen Burstyn dramatic biopic "Hanna's War" (1988) and "Ernest Goes to School" (1994) with Jim Varney. He had an early role on the television special "Titmuss Regained" (PBS, 1991-92). Porter worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "The X-Files" (Fox, 1993-2002). His film career continued throughout the nineties and the early 2000s in productions like the Tygh Runyan dramedy "Come Together" (2001) and the Monica Potter suspenseful mystery "Head Over Heels" (2001). He also starred in the TV movies "The Stepsister" (USA, 1996-97) and "Convictions" (Lifetime, 1997-98). In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "Supernatural" (2005-), "Whistler" (2005-06) and "Arrow" (CW, 2012-). Most recently, Porter acted on "iZombie" (CW, 2014-).
