Roy Chiao
Roy Chiao was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Chiao landed roles in various films, including the adventure "Ferry to Hong Kong" (1959) with Curt Jurgens, the dramatic adaptation "Hsia Nu" (1971) with Hsu Feng and the horror movie "Blood Reincarnation" (1974) with Shih Tien. He also appeared in the action film "Golden Needles" (1974) with Joe Don Baker. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the seventies and the eighties, appearing in the Richard Ng comedy "Itchy Fingers" (1978), the Harrison Ford action picture "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" (1984) and "The Protector" (1985). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Jean-Claude van Damme action flick "Bloodsport" (1988), the John Lone thriller "Shadow of China" (1991) and the Wong Kar-Kui dramatic comedy "Cageman" (1992). Chiao more recently acted in "Summer Snow" (1994).
